Health Alert: Coronavirus (COVID-19)
In order to protect the safety of all patients, staff and visitors, Canberra Private and Calvary John James Hospitals have strict Coronavirus policies in place. If you are attending Canberra Hand Centre or being admitted into the hospital/day surgery, you will be appropriately screened, including QR code check-in on entry to the buildings.
Consultations
Dr Green continues to offer both face-to-face and Telehealth consultations. Our office will be in contact with patients in the lead up to their appointments to discuss arrangements, guided by the current Coronavirus rulings set out by ACT Health at that time. We are happy to discuss the various face-to-face or Telehealth video-conferencing alternatives to see which would best suit your situation.
Due to social distancing restrictions we have put various measures in place in our rooms including limiting the number of people in our waiting room and limiting the number of people attending a consultation. If you have any queries regarding this matter, please contact our rooms to discuss. Please do not attend a face-to-face consultation if you have cold or flu symptoms, if you have been to a current COVID-19 hot-spot area or if you have been advised to self-isolate.
Surgery
Elective and non-elective surgeries are proceeding as usual. Our office will be in contact with patients who have upcoming surgery to discuss scheduling and arrangements, guided by the current rulings set out by ACT Health.
